This build will be for a cheaper alternative to the $170 vortech battery backup. should be a simple project.....the only parts inside vortech's backup are a.... Matt's thread http://www.3reef.com/forums/general-reef-topics/apc-backup-ups-reef-116386.html got me thinking about this and i believe it's pretty easy to.... Lots of people have diy'd a battery backup for their voretech(s). but i think they use a separate charger and just plug up the whole thing to vortech controller.
